What do you do when you hear a word that is new to you? Do you Google it? Look it up in a dictionary? Ask someone what it means? Or just nod as if you know the word even though you don’t? There are more than a million words in the English language, and yet the average person only knows about 20,000-40,000 words. I mean, you can’t be expected to know all of the words in the English language. In our faith, we use words to talk about what we believe, but we don’t always define those words. Maybe you’ve heard words at church and weren’t sure what they meant. You’re not alone, so let’s talk about the words we use.
